The Quincy Regional Barge Dock is a public terminal owned and operated by the City of Quincy, and is available for use by any business or industry in the tri-state area. The dock is located at mile 326, east side, of the Mississippi River in Lock and Dam 21 pool. This is the northernmost pool on the upper Mississippi River to remain open all winter. Pool flood stage is seventeen-feet. The Quincy Regional Barge Dock ceases operation at eighteen-feet.

The dock is permitted by the Illinois Department of Agriculture and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for fertilizer operations. It is equipped to handle two barges at a time, and currently handles between 150 and 200 barges a year.

Multiple barge lines service Adams County ports. Fleeting service is available along with cranes, local warehousing, barge cleaning and repair, tug work, switches, shuttle and transfer and loading.

The Quincy Regional Barge Dock is located on West Harrison Street in the South Quincy Industrial Area.
