AmerenCIPS has provided natural gas services for more than 75 years and today distributes natural gas to nearly 190,000 customers in 270 Illinois communities. AmerenCIPS operates 5,270 miles of transmission and distribution mains and also owns and operates three underground storage fields, with capacity of 3 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day.
