    Education In The Tri-States

We’re committed to kids. They are the future after all. That’s why we take pride in our highly rated K-12 public and private school systems. County and region-wide, teachers and staff work to provide the best in academics and extracurricular activities.

Over 30,000 students are enrolled in higher education within 75 miles of Quincy. These students are enrolled in one of seven four-year schools and are pursuing one (or more) of nearly 500 degrees or certificates.

The Quincy and Adams County Illinois region is also home to a variety of training and educational programs that help produce the well-prepared and hard working workforce for which we are known.

Educating our future workforce with the 21st century skills businesses need is critical to building long-term economic stability. The words of Parker Gates, Quincy native, radio enthusiast, and inventor sum it up best, “Let’s make the dreams of the young the success of the future. Provide the slap on the back, the encouragement, the education, the money and prove to them that our faith in them is not just their tomorrow, but Quincy’s tomorrow too.”
